Technical Sales Executive

The individual is responsible for selling Avaya & Personal Systems inside the technical space. The representative develops and implements achievable plans which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base inside of the region. The representative works within the sales model for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, profit generation, and long-term growth goals.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the sale of equipment, equipment service, and software tailored for the production vertical and imaging customer across a large spectrum of client types.
  • Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above and provides hands-on product and software demonstration for prospects and clients.
  • Develops annual business plan in conjunction with sales leaders, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year that will assist in meeting and exceeding sales quotas established by the Sales Manager.
  • Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
  • Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale profitably.
  • Develops and manages a database of qualified leads, prospects and clients through referrals, telemarketing, face to face cold calling, emailing and networking.
  • Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems.
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls,
presentations, closed sales and activities within their assigned territory.
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Participates and contributes in all educational activities as they relate to sales improvement training, personal development and product training which may require limited travel.
  • Mentors new employees and assists the team in product and sales training needs for new employees and the team community.
  • Maintains sustained sales activities. Responsible for supporting sales force in conducting and presenting demonstrations, proposals and value propositions related to the production environments inside of the market scope. This involves applying a consultative approach to analyze the customer’s business communication requirements, and developing customized solutions for the production space to exceed customer requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Account Executive, you must understand and be eager to learn sales techniques and strategies, such as cold-calling, networking and lead generation. We are also seeking individuals capable of influencing clients, developing emotional relationships and ultimately closing business to meet or exceed assigned quota, both within existing customers and with new prospects. An Outside Sales Account Executive for Accent Imaging, you will detail and sell compelling business solutions to optimize customers’ business and technology needs. You will primarily call on small- to medium-sized businesses to meet with office managers, purchasing supervisors, IT personnel and senior business management or ownership.
